You can feel safe when you come to the Institute of Plastic Surgery and you can expect the best possible result. We take care of our patients (customers) before, during and after the surgical procedures. Our goal is the same as that of our customers: a good final result. We have developed new techniques, but we have carefully introduced them. The safety of the patients has always been our primary concern.

We do most things in plastic and reconstructive surgery and perform mainly large surgery with the assistance of either anaesthesiologist doctors or anaesthetist nurses. Some of these procedures are suitable for so called intravenous sedation- but you should not eat or drink for at least 6 hours before the surgery. Most procedures are combined with local anaesthesia- sometimes in large volumes of fluid, which makes the procedures-like liposuction and face-surgery safer and more efficient.

The clinic has participated in the development and introduction of many techniques in facial surgery, rhinoplasties, blepharoplasties, breast and abdominal surgery, liposuction and tissue expansion.

Examples: we always reconstruct the tarsal fold –when missing-in the upper eyelids and eliminate the “tear trough” in -or below- the lower eyelids. We use if possible the fat pads of the lower eyelids to fill out the hollows below. Techniques that we have been virtually alone to perform for many years.

We have been early and successful in mid-face rejuvenation and augmentation of the malar regions and the lips-also in older patients. We feel that today it is possible to reconstruct --- and rejuvenate. We lift the mid-face vertically in face-lifts, which was even further improved the results. Treatment is tailored to suit individual desires. Since 20 years our doctor has participated intensely in the development of tissue expansion (see below), which we use virtually every day in breast surgery, e.g. breast augmentation and breast reconstruction in deformities and after cancer.

As an alternative to foreign filler materials we have constantly improved our use of autologous (your own tissue) material e.g. for deformities, malar and lip augmentation. At the same time more implants for chin and malar (middle-face) augmentation is being used due to an increased demand and good, safe results.
